NSW: Discount chains ordered to stop selling toys
SYDNEY, Feb 25 AAP - Three discount chain stores have been banned from selling toys,clothes and other products until they are safety tested.
The NSW Department of Fair Trading sought orders in the NSW Supreme Court to stop GoLo, Crazy Prices and Crazy Clarks selling toys until tests proved they were safe.
The chains are owned by Youngdown Pty Ltd and Sungate Pty Ltd, subsidiaries of Australia'sbiggest retail corporation Miller's Retail Limited.
The companies must take toys off shelves and return them to distribution centres fortesting. Products that fail the tests will have to be …
